USB adapter on the market
The Repeatit
is a long-range, wireless USB weatherproof antenna. This unit is ideal
for people that are situated a long way from a WiFi access point or are
experiencing problems with signal strength. This unit is very popular with
boat & caravan users as it allows them to connect to hotspots several
kilometres away, compared to ordinary USB dongles & inbuilt laptop WiFi that
only transmit distances of 10 – 100 metres.
The installation procedure is very
simple: connect the USB cable to the computer, run the installation program
and the user is online.

By using advanced antenna technology and an integrated solution for the
electronics in an outdoor proof casing, excellent radio performance is
achieved. This also eliminates all possible problems caused by pigtails and
other accessories. The distance between the Booster and computer can be
increased by the use of active USB extenders, available
here.

Easy to
install
Since all electronics and the antenna is integrated in one casing, all that
remains to be handled by the user is one unit to place either indoor or
outdoor via the supplied 5 metre USB cable. The SU2410-USB has been designed for easy installation. The
attached antenna holder can be used to mount the antenna on an antenna pole
(TV antenna, for example) or wall mounted. The SU2410-USB is fully compatible with other
IEEE802.11b/g standard WiFi-products.
