The Outdoor Wireless Multi-Client Bridge/Access Point/ WDS (wireless distribution system) operates seamlessly in the 2.4 GHz frequency spectrum supporting the 802.11b (2.4GHz, 11Mbps) and the newer, faster 802.11g (2.4GHz, 54Mbps) wireless standards. It's the best way to add wireless capability to your existing wired network, or to add bandwidth to your wireless installation. Four user adjustable power levels allow up to 26dB. Please note: The power level should be adjusted so as to stay within the legal EIRP limits).

To protect your wireless connectivity, it can encrypt all wireless transmissions through 64/128-bit WEP data encryption and also supports WPA. The MAC address filter lets you select exactly which stations should have access to your network. With the Wireless Multi-Client Bridge/Access Point/WDS, you'll experience the best wireless connectivity available today.

Setup is very straight forward if you have an existing network and you need to share this wirelessly to multiple clients outside.
In essence you connect one end of a lan cable into a free port on your existing network (standard wirelessly routers usually have four), the other end goes into the "network" side of the power injector

The injector then has a second Lan cable, one end in the "AP" the other end is taken outside and plugs into the NOC unit itself, this cable will then take both the network signal  and the electric to power the unit.

The advantage with this is that you do not have to worry about location for the outside unit with regards to power supply.

The unit when set to access-point will provide your clients with an ip address each controlled via the dchp server.

If the site is very large or there a dead spot in the signal, a further unit set as repeater can be used by simply installing a further unit to pick the weak signal up and re broadcasting out at full strength again, after setup this unit needs no connection to a wired network, only  a power supply:
